The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for November 02, 2002

Caeser: Let's go see "The Transporter." Huey: Is it supposed to be good? Caeser: Well, there's no black people in it...no wise-cracking black "best friend" for comic relief, no politically uncomfortable black female lead, no older mystic black advisor. No asexual black sidekick, no black men dressed as women. No basketball. No noble negro fighting racism. No fat black guy, no skinny black guy. No script by Mike Elliot, no Eddie Griffin. As far as I can tell, there are no black people affiliated with this movie whatsoever. Huey: What time's the next show? Caeser: Wait. There's black people on the soundtrack. We may need to rethink this.
