Huey: The purpose of New Year's resolutions is to keep the masses demoralized, reinforcing the status quo. For example, a person reolves to lose weight. But every day he's bombarded with carefully crafted McDonald's ads meant to break his will. Soon, he eats a big mac. Unable to change his own behavior, he abandons hope for systemic change hope is crushed. Caesar: I'm so happy I get to listen to this kinda thing for another whole year. Huey: Don't mention it.
