Caesar: Something's been bugging me. Maybe it's a dumb question, but I'm kinda curious... Huey: Shoot. Caesar: Well, it's just... I mean... I was just thinking... You know... I'm not trying to be a troublemaker, but... Huey: Go 'head... spit it on out... Caesar: Well, just who in the heck actually won the election last year, huh?! Huey: Shh! I don't think that question is legal anymore.
FLChiefFan said, Luckily, the Founding Fathers had the forsight [sic] to design into our system of government a way to keep the large, populus [sic] states from imposing thier [sic] will onto the country as a whole. Plus, it was what, 9 years ago!!! Get over it already!!!!
I thought you were being sardonic until I reached the end of your post. You think it’s fortunate that the Founding Fathers were still so immured in the elitism and classism they had inherited from European political philosophy that they couldn’t quite bring themselves to trust the popular vote? Besides, what you’re talking about accounts for the existence of the Senate, not the Electoral College.
As for the issue of my commenting on what may appear to be ancient history (if one has a sufficiently short attention span), I am commenting upon the strip. The strip is a rerun. Get over it, already.
