Huey: I've talked granddad into letting you play "grand theft auto 3" again... Riley: Great! Huey: Only if you two play it together, so he can provide appropriate parental guidance. Riley: What?! A chaperone for a video game? Huey: You're welcome. Riley: Beating up prostitutes with granddad? What fun is that?!
This was my comment back on August 14 - I think it’s much more appropriate for today’s strip……
“My son’s mother bought him Grand Theft Auto when he was only 10. He proudly brought it over one weekend to show me - I knew nothing about this “kid’s”game at the time. Something strange was happening on the screen and I asked him what he was doing. “Beating up hookers and stealing their money”, he calmly replied. Of course, I then heard “It’s just a game, Dad”. My ex and I had a little disagreement over “Grand Theft Auto” after that.”
