TV: We have a very detailed plan to achieve our goals in Iraq. Step one is to do exactly what we've been doing so far. Step two is to continue, in the near future, to do what we've been doing so far. Step three is to figure out a way to do steps one and two and still get re-elected.

This is also the method many churches use when they want “revival.” It works as well for the churches as it did in Iraq.

The interesting thing about this is, he still got reelected despite his overwhelming failure there. I don’t think he really cared. And after reelection, he continued to fail there. And the failure still continues. I have no idea how anyone ever thought this was a good idea. And no one will ever get punished for it. It’s a failure that has cost billions and billions. And people still don’t care.
