A shady election, the appointment of Bush by the Supreme Court, a sharp economic downturn, an energy crisis, several months of nonstop Gary Condit, Aaliyah dies in a plane crash at 22, a massive terrorist attack on New York and the Pentagon, the loss of thousands of innocent lives, a war on Afghanistan, Ashcroft assulating civil liberties, Bush gets a 90 percent approval rating, bio-terrorist attacks on media and government institutions, and Gloria Foster, the oracle from "The Matrix," dies of diabetes. Am I forgetting anything? Caeser: Episode 2--"Attack of the Clones." Huey: Right, doesn't exactly bode well for 2002... Caeser: Some years just need a "do over" clause in the contract...
