Granddad: OK, boy, other than wiping out my credit card bill, what's this Y2K thing really gonna do? Huey: Well, it's a little late now, but... It could collapse the economic system as we know it. Everything with a microchip could stop working... from telephone lines to military hardware... water filters may not work, atms may not work, gas pumps may not work... Granddad: What about cable? Huey: Naw, cable probably won't work... Granddad: No cable?!
Except, of course, for the government channels telling you nothing’s wrong…
