Riley: So who's running for president? Is Bill Clinton running? Huey: No, why? Riley: Why isn't he running? I wanna vote for Clinton! Huey: Since when do you care? What do you know about politics? Riley: Man, Clinton is the man!! He's a playa president!! He's a pimp!! Whoever else is running, they ain't smooth like my dawg Clinton! Huey: OK, so you do know something about politics... Riley: Hey... You think I could grow up to be a president pimp like Bill Clinton?
Bill Clinton enacted a very republican agenda and pretended he was moderating it, and people laud him as a great president. The guy who ended welfare, made the military hostile to LGBT people in the ranks, and accelerated the decline of our towns and cities by making it easier to move jobs overseas get a lot of praise from people willing to ignore how bad things got when he was done being president. He never met a policy position he couldn’t adopt as his very own, as long as he got credit for it.
