worldisacomic, the Health Care Reform is not a health care plan. It has provisions in it, such as insurance companies no longer being able to refuse coverage because of pre-existing conditions or being able to kick you off their insurance because you actually got sick.
Remember, the idea of a national health care service (such as those in Canada, UK, France, Switzerland, or virtually any of our other allies) was shot down almost immediately. You may chafe, I suppose, at the requirement for all people to purchase health care coverage (originally a Republican idea put into effect in Massachusetts).

If Obamacare is so great how come Congress’s health insurance is not covered by it. Makes you wonder!
