It’s like shooting a punt gun at a large wall, then trying to connect the dots afterwards. Is this supposed to be an indictment of quiet quitting or some such nonsense?

Same kind of attitude that is exhibited by those who when they earn a sick day, call in pretending to be sick so they can have a day off. Great until you really need some sick days.

A recent Gallup report on the millennial generation reveals that 21% of millennials say they’ve changed jobs within the past year, which is more than three times the number of non-millennials who report the same. Gallup estimates that millennial turnover costs the U.S. economy $30.5 billion annually

I was a low-paid in-house employee. Then took a few contract jobs, for the significantly higher pay, each one paying more. Then old company hired me back – at a raise to my last contract job pay. I left as one of the lowest paid for my discipline, but got hired back as one of the highest. Then, of course, I got laid off because my pay was too high.
