    Thank dog we emigrated to a civilized country. And I am thankful that I passed the boards early so I could practice up here. Thank dog that “Medical Bankruptcy” is a USAian experience. Medical care is seen as a right in the civilized world. Hopefully the USA can join us in 2029.

    I’m on trulicity for my diabetes, it costs me 1250.00 a month for the weekly injection. 4 doses, 312.00 each.

    I spent $2700.00 on my hearing aid and got reimbursed $1050 from my insurance; as Droopy would say: I’m happy;)

    My oncology meds cost $18,500 per month and the pharmaceutical manufacturer’s assistance foundation sends it to my home at no charge. Previously, with a different medication, CVS charged Medicare $7,600 and CVS was reimbursed $76. It is no wonder why pharmacies are struggling financially.
