MSNBC is like a toxic additive.

I’ll think I’ll watch " As the Divot Overturns" on the golf channel.

I don’t trust any of them. I also quit watching local news when the newsreaders (They’re not reporters anymore, at least the in-studio crew aren’t) proved they never learned how to speak the English language. I spent more time flinching from the poor grammar and misuse of words than anything else.

Our Founders made Freedom of the Press in the 1st Amendment for very good reason. They knew having one source for news opens the floodgates for opinion, lies, manipulation and corruption. Most every town had a newspaper, weekly mostly. The cities might have had several, and some daily. The Brit press during our War for Independence was brutal against Washington and his wife. After our constitution became law the press was involved in terrible mudslinging, lies, innuendo between Adams and Jefferson running for president. They knew, first hand, about the media.

Our charge from our Founders is to make the effort to separate the fly poop from the pepper. To search, look for and find the truth among the myriad of falsehoods. We have today more resources to find the truth than ever in human history. If you have a computer you have an entire, world-wide library in your own home. It can be overwhelming and confusing. But far better having more information at your fingertips than they had with few opinioned sources. The key to Freedom is making the effort to keep that Freedom.
