You’re supposed to at least bark, and try to scare them away.

My dog has become part of the Ring system. When I’m notified of a motion in front of one of the outside cameras on my phone, she goes out the doggie door to investigate.

When I was a kid, we had a dog who, whenever someone came to the door, would bark ferociously… from under the bed!

I had a watch dog — unfortunately all he did was watch

Scaredy-dog.

My dog was a toughie. She’d bark until the stranger was in the house & then roll over for belly rubs.

There’s room enough for two.

According to Wikipedia, “Robberies are rare and unlikely in Antarctica.” It’s not totally safe from crime, but pretty safe from robbery or burglary.
