Transcript:
Lupin: The annual gourd sacrifice has begun. Puck: It's a somber occasion on the dining table, Lupin, as the People begin their yearly ritual. Puck: The organs are removed with ceremonial tools reserved for gourd sacrificing, and then later fired and devoured, presumably for their power. Elvis: It is unclear why the People worship a pumpkin god. Or why it's such a goofball.... Lupin: Gain the power... Puck: NO, LUPIN, DON'T! Puck: It tastes terrible! Elvis: Are they mocking their god? Elvis: Is this a protest? Puck: After carving a face into the sacrifice, the People place a jar full of Christmas lights in it. Puck: To represent the jar of Christmas lights in each of us. Woman: Honey, I think Lupin got into some pumpkin. Lupin: Am I Sticky with power? Or just sticky?
I was wondering why the strip is behind by five months while others are current. Since I have only subscribed to Breaking Cat News for about two months, can somebody tell me why this is? I assume somebody here knows that answer. Us cat people have to stick together….like pumpkin on a face.
