You put the trays in the microwave after venting the turkey, gravy, and stuffing and cutting away the film from the dessert, microwave for a few minutes, peel back the film to stir the mashed potatoes and turkey and gravy, pull the film back over and microwave for a few minutes more. Done.
And that WAS supposed to be a joke folks. I know a proper Thanksgiving feast isn’t some TV turkey dinner you throw in the microwave. It takes a lot more work than that. Speaking of which, going to have to start making the feast today. Part of ours is a cranberry-orange relish that requires a minimum of two days before it’s served to marinate the flavors. And it’s going to be the first time I’ll have made it.
