Repel, Repulse same thing, right?

At least this (not-quite-)superhero won’t engender another endless forum discussion about why he wears his underwear outside his tights.

“Repel” (as in the strip) and “repulse” are both verb forms. Oddball is correct.

The adjective forms of each are “repellent” and “repulsive”.

If you’re going to go around correcting people….. …. just sayin’, …. y’know?

Just one more reason I usually don’t.

Do you not copy and paste?I think it was you for whom I once wrote a “how-to”.

I usually post very late at night, Pacific Time, after the comics come out, and into the wee hours.

I come back the next afternoon and answer people.

You (and several other people) never seem to return, or see what I say to you, at this time of day, so I’ll try to post something tonight, i.e, “early” on tomorrow’s strip.

On forums where I’ve made comments, I almost always come back and read all the rest, every evening before going on to the new day’s strips.
