Bruno… think “counters”…it might have helped if there were a “Formica” booth.

And the Count would have a booth…. cos he’s a counter, of course.

Not sure why there’s a distant crowd…or what’s going on at the lower right table, the one with what might be a lamp on it.Do you suppose that’s the information counter?

The Needle… Oh! Right you are.

It’s hard to counter these statements…So many! But then, who’s counting….

I ain’t got no culture, counter or otherwise.

This kind of festival is always counterproductive…

Check out Ripley’s Believe it or not. You’ve got a wacky relative across the Pond.

It’s Jasper County that has me thinking, as Thompson rarely includes anything without reason. AFAIK, most Jasper counties in the US are named after the Revolutionary War hero, but his claim to fame had to do with a flag.

You know, if you never wash your counter you’re liable to have a culture growing on it…….
