Ok… nobody’s here…so I don’t know whether to explain this or wait till somebody asks.

I’m sure some of you are totally up-to-date on the culture…and will think it’s funny that others of us (raises hand) had absolutely no clue….

But I’m thinking we clueless ones might be the majority, what with the no-comments thing going on.

So…. I guess I’ll tell you…I suspected “Farfetch” or “Farfetch’d” might be a Pokemon character…and indeed, this little guy is called “Farfetch’d”

And in “Pokemon Go” you somehow “catch” Pokemon characters that appear all around you..that is, when you watch your surroundings on your phone instead of by looking where you’re going…inspiring passersby to shout things like “Look out for that truck, you @#$%! MORON!!!”

Thanks, Kind&Kinder…actually, the only one I know is Pikachu …I just Googled “Farfetch’d”, in case it was a Pokemon, and gosh….it was.

Actually, two corpses have recently been found exactly this way, to the great shock of both the Pokemon players AND the police!

At some point in the hopefully near future, people will look back on Pokemon Go and wonder what the big fuss was about.

The FBI recently announced that they were closing the case on DB Cooper.

As a retired airline mechanic, I can state that D. B. could not have survived that jump from the 727. Some of the money has been found years later. He probably made a lot of buzzards very happy.
