Why do those dumb pirate movies have the boarding party swing aboard? Where ado the ropes attach when there are only yardarms in two or three positions, those swinging are totally unprotected during the swing, the roll of the ship could damp the swing, leaving them motionless over the intervening water, etc. artoon physics is one thing, but in a supposedly realistic movie?
