He ‘s not hogging the gerunds, he’s bearing them.
The gerund-hog goes into a bar, and the bartender says, “What are you, drinking?”
Are those examples a good fitting? I’m sure you will give me a talking to about it.

Verbing nouns has been the rage for 20 or 30 years….

Gerunds are easily identified by the “ing” ending.
