Is that Johnny 5 or Wall-E?

    WALL*E, definitely.

I’d say it was more likely that a lot of scrapped battle droids are there. Jedis are very useful, but they do tend to leave a lot of hardware in their wake. :)

OldBot should not complain about being recycled - it seems that his ‘head’ was recycled from Twiki the robot in Buck Rogers

Robot cannibalism is always an ugly thing to watch - and a bit noisy, too.

A WALL-E. Not THE WALL-E. Earth hasn’t been abandoned yet, notice?

Actually, he’ll either be blown up beyond repair or sold in a foreign country.

Hey, There’s an old data file stuck in Oldbot’s memory here. Let’s see what it says.

Help me, Oldbot! You’re my only hope! (message repeat 10x)

I’m surprised he wasn’t drained of his essential fluids then put in a big crusher to come out as a cube of metallic remains.

Watcha: OMG, so you’re the only other person on Earth besides me who watched that ghastly thing. Shudder You bring up painful memories.

4deerinmyyard: here in South Africa it was the only program that was watchable at that stage - 20 years or so ago. They did show a repeat of it a few years back and I was shocked at the quality.

Nope, 4deer, that makes at least three of us…at least I saw a few episodes, not all.

N.B.: Twiki was voiced by Mel Blanc, of all people.

I have a bunch of old computer parts around the house. Functional but worthless. What came later is far superior. Using one to hold toilet paper. Thinking about getting the copper wiring out of another so my beloved can use it in jewelry making.
