Ah, an eleven-spot ladybird beetle. They are NOT bugs, despite being commonly called ‘ladybugs’ in North America. Ladybird beetles, tiger beetles, dragonflies, and hellgrammites are, weight-for-weight, the most vicious predators on Earth. Ladybirds prefer aphids, but will go for other prey if aphids aren’t available. Dragonflies and hellgrammites go for flies and mosquitos, mostly. Tiger beetles go for anything which holds still long enough.
If they survive, this should be a very good lesson for Brewster and Pam. That being, when you are investigating a possible hostile situation bring some damn weapons.

A ladybug bugging a lady. How ironic.

It seems J.B.S. Haldane was right (like if you get the reference).

The software used to draw this strip has too many bugs in it…

I kind of wish the ladybugs were that big – they’d have a harder time getting into my house at the onset of cold weather!

Last balloon was unneeded — but a good gag nonetheless.

The ladybug’s probably a male with the hots for Pam … which is understandable.
