Just to confirm the history here, my family’s first TV in the ’50s was about a 9-inch screen with about a 15-inch magnifying glass in front.
You also need the magnifying glass to find the phone in the first place.

Char, God Bless You! Be sure to tell your children and grandchildren about the changes you have seen. My late grandmother was born in 1899 and died in 1998. Think about what she saw! (You witnessed a lot of it!)
