When I was very young, toy soldiers were metal and based on WWI uniforms and weapons. By the time I was a teen, they were plastic and based on WWII and Korea. They mostly disappeared for Vietnam thanks to the anti-war movement. I may have to visit a toy store to see what they look like now. But what will the future bring for toy soldiers? Soldiers in exoskeletons and drone operators in their comfy chairs?

Maybe these guys were in fact exiled by the Martian government for excessive gullibility? —With an aggravating circumstance of stupidity?
