Not too many years ago, we would have looked at this strip and asked why it was funny. Sad, really.

I made this same comment on Born Loser today. More often than I would have thought there are two (or more) comic strips on the same day with similar themes. But today Born Loser and Broom Hilda are almost copies of each other.
Is there more to this than just coincidence?
