    using the same scenario, although it won’t be pleasant, She will make a remarkable, immediate recovery from whatever the shark does because in cartoon world, nobody dies and injuries merely last a few seconds

    That is not how Wile. E Coyote does it. He walks off the cliff and hangs there until he looks down. He then falls.
