Fellow I met while delivering outside McAlester told the story about telling one of his sons to go see if the chickens he had bought were laying yet. Son says “Dad, they are not gonna lay any eggs.”
“Why not?” says Dad.
“Cause you ain’t got a rooster.”
Second son says he ain’t eatin any eggs they lay anyway. “You can buy mine at the store.”
