There are folks who do this. Somebody called 911 because they needed cigarettes; they got a citation for wasting police time.
More than a few have done so over food orders. Another not long ago was related to diapers.
OK, now she needs treatment for a sore butt.
OTOH, you gotta be pretty desperate to ask for food from a hospital.
I was sicker when I left the hospital than when I got there!
