Since it’s a black and white cartoon; they couldn’t use the bluebird of happiness?
It requires a woodpecker’s beak to break through her thick skull to show her happiness can happen. My dad called it the 2 X 4 of happiness because a whack on the head by a large piece of metaphorical wood is sometimes needed.
I just hope it didn’t fly up her nose. Like the Bird of Paradise. For those who remember.
Are you trying to tell me those Black Clouds are made out of wood? —And here I thought it was a big blob of India ink….
