Broomie my sentiments EXACTLY! I love the snow. Playing in it, watching it, even camping in it, but when you ask me to move it a couple of feet on a driveway and/or sidewalk I HATE SNOW WITH A PASSION!!!! soooo – the sun will come out tomorrow, bet my bottom dollar it will melt it within the next 150 days or so
I live in the American South. The snow is pretty, then it goes away in a few days. If I want to speed it up on the brick walkways, I shovel down to the dark brick in a few places to speed up the process.
I used to shovel for my landlady years ago. This year, there has so far not been enough snow where I now live (in Chicagoland) to measure as more than “a dusting.” Of course, there’s always tomorrow….
Jasper McLevy, the longtime Socialist mayor of Bridgeport Connecticut, was known for refusing to spend any money on snow removal. His reasoning was that it would all be gone by spring anyway, so why bother?
Of course, he could get away with it since few people drove to work or anywhere else in those days (1933-1957).

Broomhilda must set the schedule for the VDOT plowing. Their mantra is “The sun will come out tomorrow so why plow today?”.

How many lighting bolts does it take to clear the path?

she can ride on her broom so the snow covering the sidewalk won’t hinder her getting out and about like the rest of her friends!

Something tells me Broomhilda knows more about magic than we do.

It seems like only last week that Gaylord was warning her of the health risks of shoveling snow at her age.

Us Texans don’t know the joy of shoveling snow. It doesn’t snow enough when it does snow.

She could just zap and melt it.

Broomie doesn’t have a spell for snow removal? Or at least a snow blower?

You’re a witch, work your magic!

Didn’t Gaylord once point out that shoveling a lot of snow would give Broomie a heartattack?
