I was just keeping up with everybody else.

My excuse? I’m sorry, this is a company car (it was) and I just got it. I’ll be more careful.

She wasn’t speeding she was drying her hair with her car.

It’s just that my cartoonist likes drawing speed lines.

I was not speeding. Look at that sign right there it says Highway 135. That’s the speed limit isn’t it?

Let me call my supervisor about that…. Hey Sarge I pulled over a driver on 135 who thought that the highway number was the speed limit, what should I do?

Arrest them quick before they get on Highway 401.

This was a apocryphal story in my community about 20 years ago before they gave highway 135 an actual street name. The driver was an American tourist who was already confused about the KM/H speed limit.

Unfortunately, unlike motorcycles, convertibles blow your hair forwards…

As anyone who has ever had a ride in a convertible knows.. hair don’t blow that way no matter how fast you drive.

C’mon, officer. We all know the old clunker (the car – not her) can’t get out of its own way.
