Buni waves at Buni girl arm and arm with her boyfriend. Buni talks to his dad next to him on the bench about his love for her, to which his dad tries to explain to him that he loves her boyfriend. Buni continues to fantasize about their wedding.
You know, though, this strip is so true to life! How many times do we watch our friends have a hopeless crush that we all (except them) know is never going to go anywhere. Or worse, someone gets involved with a person that treats them like dirt, constantly makes them suffer etc and of course they want to tell us allll about it, eeeevery day. And you can point out how rotten the person is to them, and your friend will say, “But I looooove him/her, you just don’ unnerstan’!”
Yes we do. It’s you that don’t get it.
