Calvin: Dad, look! I caught a fish! Dad: Hey, that's a big one. I'll show you how to clean it, and we'll have it for dinner. Calvin: "Clean it"? Dad: Cut off its head and gut it. Calvin: Mmm! Pass me another of these great cheese sandwhiches! Ha ha. No bones in these, right?
Many modern humans would become vegetarians—at least for a while—if they had to take part in the preparing of their meat. OTOH, some people wouldn’t know what to eat if they had to help in growing and harvesting their veggies and fruits too….
