Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for December 30, 1986
Transcript:
Calvin: Boy, is it cold! Can't we turn the heat up? Mom: Heat is expensive, Calvin. Just put on a sweater. Calvin: Look, the thermostat goes all the way up to 90 degrees! We could be sitting around in our shorts! MoM: Leave the thermostat alone, Calvin. Calvin: I can almost see my breath. I'll just crank it up to 75, Ok? Mom: I said don't touch it! Calvin: Gee, my hands are so numb, I can't move the switch. Guess I'll put on a sweater.
Take it from his pocket to pay the heat, he’ll stop in his tracks.
