Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for September 06, 1987
Transcript:
Calvin: You know, some people never get to walk in a beautiful woods like this. Hobbes: While others of us face the prospect of never doing anything else. Calvin: Oh, hush. We'll find our way home. Hobbes: You don't remember this? Calvin: Nope, we're sure lost this time. Hobbes: If I had know we weren't going to find our way home, I'd have brought my coloring book. Calvin: We could be here for months. We'd better forage for shelter. This will be fun! We can be modern Robinson Crusoes, living off the land by our wits! Hobbes: We can be rugged explorers! Calvin: Yeah! We'll be free from all the constraints of civilization! Oh boy! Hobbes: Hey, isn't that our back yard. Calvin: Why so it is. Mom: I don't care how long you'll be gone, I'm only making you one sandwich. Calvin: How about rifles, then? Do we have any rifles?
