Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for November 07, 1987
Transcript:
Cavlin: Oh boy, it's Saturday!! What's going on? Why aren't there any cartoons on TV? It's just a test pattern. Hobbes: The TV guide says they don't start until 6:30. Calvin: Heck, that's 45 minutes from no! Well, c'mon, I'll race you up and down the stairs! Mom: Why can't he ever get up like this on school days? Dad: Go break his little legs, will you, honey?
Tape Saturday Morning Cartoons (forbidding him from watching them on Saturdays, of course), then ration them out throughout the school week
…Well, Calvin does seem to fall for some things. He may fall for it!
