Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for January 31, 1991
Transcript:
Dad: Time for bed, Calvin. Calvin: you can put my body to bed, but my spirit's going to stay right here, so why bother? Why shouldn't I just stay up? Dad: Because the body is the home of the spirit, and if you're not in bed in two minutes, your spirit is going to be permanently nomadic. Calvin: Home sweet home.
I thought Calvin said his spirit was going to stay in bed that morning.
