Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for October 20, 1993
Transcript:
Calvin: Everybody seeks happiness! Not me, though! That's the difference between me and the rest of the world! Happiness isn't good enough for me! I demand euphoria! The problem with you, Hobbes, is you're always at a loss for words. Hobbes: I've found that saves many a friendship.
One should not seek happiness, happiness is merely an emotion. One should seek contentment, when one is content, one need not seek any more.
