and i thought dogs were the only pets that chased their tails, hobbs is good at it

If you feel like chasing something, Hobbes, Calvin’s standing right there. You like pouncing on him, don’t you?

Chasing your tail isn’t bad, but when your tail starts chasing you, it’s then that you know you’re in trouble.

p.s. - a good story teller is always chasing a tale.

My cat has done this, and actually succeeded.

Yeah, but in “Sambo” the tigers were chasing Sambo around a tree, not their tails (or at least they thought they were). By the way, this story explains where Tiger Butter comes from.

I became a C & H fan late of the publications in the newspapers, so when it was discontinued, I bought books. Then I discovered this website, and I get my daily “fix.”

This one is in my top ten C & H Sunday strips. Why? For all the right reasons, not least being the sardonic line ending with, “…your tail still has a death grip on your butt.”

Yep, Rakkav, though there are probably 30 or 40 Sunday strips in my top ten. ;-)
