LX013, Jiminy Cricket was a Disney character, who sings what is considered to be the universal Disney theme song, “When You Wish upon a Star” in the movie “Pinocchio.” The last line of the song is, “When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.”
Since Calvin’s wish didn’t come true, however, he wants to “skoosh” Jiminy Cricket for making a false promise – that is, he wants to step on him and squish him into oblivion.
