Yes, where is everyone. For the past 3 1/2 years, I have been a regular reader of this comic strip. What happened? Where is everyone? I just want to say my day at works starts with Calvin and comments.

Oh, this is too cool!! This definitely gave me a good laugh today! But, I fear there will be something slapping but it ain’t going to be greenbacks against his palm!! It’s going to be someone else’s palm against his little backside! But, I hope this detective series continues!

Sid & musicnut, obviously it is a pack of Lucky Strike chocolate cigarettes (like I had when I was 6 – many decades ago)

So who do you think did it? … the butler maybe? … or the cute french maid?

The only thing that will be doing any slapping will be HER palm across his backside. The detective will regard this as an assault by a shadow figure involved in the case whose identity has yet to be revealed….

Where can I get a fedora like Calvin’s so I can talk about greenbacks and dames also?

OK, why the heck does it seem like these Tracer Bullet stories always end up happening when Calvin ( or Hobbes ) does something extremely stupid???
