A bike rodeo!

I remember the ‘evil bike’.

Actually, Dad, adversity never builds character; it only reveals it.

My evil bic always kept breaking down,never got a chance to build any character me or that stupid thing.

But- ir’s as easy as riding a bike!

Off-topic aside- anybody wonder just how the heck they managed to engineer smoke alarms (or their batteries) so they always start their “I need a new battery”chirping routine between midnight and 5 AM?

I think I built character when my dad tried to get me to ride my bike down a steep hill between our apartment building and the one next to it. There was a brier patch and ditch at the bottom of the hill. Hundreds of briers knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of Thlor that day, I can tell you.

Wow! And I thought the lawn chair from “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” was tough!

All that character building will kill ya.

While you’re at it, Calvin, ask for a mini-gun.

just wait til your older, and you are riding a stationary bike to lose your love handles and spare tire.

Calvin’s dad and his ‘building character’ comments. You know they really should have given that guy a name.

Fathers’ Day had been last Sunday!!

Every Sunday, this kid has something to imagine. Lol

That’s why I never wear one. They promote false courage.

Calvin and Hobbes will always be my favourite comic. My youngest son,Andrew is almost 30 now,but when he was young, he WAS Calvin!! I own the boxset of the entire hard bound series. :)

I think my first experiences with a 2-wheeler were similar to this.
