I’ve never understood why boys’/men’s bikes still have the horizontal bar across the top. I know that girls’/women’s bikes were originally designed for riders wearing long skirts, but it just seems more, uh, practical for everyone not to have a nether region-crunching pole in close proximity to the aforesaid nether regions.
