Calvin is hoping that Moe will fall for it. Moe’s behavior really angers Calvin. And Calvin’s scenario really burns Moe up.

Usually its the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, but we’ll let Moe have it this time.

Living well is the best revenge, Cal. Years from now, when you’re driving your Mercedes-Benz, pull into a full-serve gas station to fill up and it’s Moe who pumps your gas, you can flick a booger in his face.

Calvin needs some of Scarecrow’s fear toxin so Moe will think he’s falling into the Earth.

I say this every day in traffic. Sadly, hasn’t happened once. …Unless you count the sinkholes in Florida?

Wait’ll it snows, Calvin, then you can make a “Moe-man” depicting Moe being subjected to all sorts of agonies.

And considering how creative you are, when you’re grown up you can emulate science fiction author Harlan Ellison, who said that in his stories he used the names of people who tormented him in his youth for characters who came to bad ends.

Narrative can be powerful, Calvin, but it doesn’t work quite like that. ;)

Calvin’s “solution” to his dilemma is testimony to mankind’s ongoing illusion that there must be some intrinsic justice in the universe…???

I do agree bullies are made rather than born. Unfortunately, this is because nature wants an equilibrium, and the more weak willed pushovers we have, the more bullies are created to keep things in balance..An unfortunate circumstance, of course…

The Fate that should await All Bullies! It would also go a long way to relieve the Over Crowding of our current place of abode!

My son played football in high school. It was a small private college prep school which meant that it had a small private college prep team – with the emphasis on small. Their arch rival was a large public school known for football much more than for academics. They recruited from all over the state and every one of them had a grandmother with whom they were living in the school district. Their team had a number of Moe-types on it. They couldn’t finalize their roster until Friday afternoon because it depended on who made bail. Instead of going into the locker room at halftime, they’d turn the team loose to graze.

Our team threw them off timing on one play. Our snap count was, “It’s alright, it’s OK, you’re going to work for us someday – hike!”

The term “molten magma” is a redundancy. Magma is by definition molten.

@Vonne Anton: Thanks, and it’s good to know that you are still around. I’ve been posting for four years now (with some sabbaticals thrown in each year), and during that time there has been a lot of turnover of Calvin and Hobbes posters. Of course, I don’t take all of the blame……
