A loving welcome home from Mom.
“I know you are, but what am I?”
If Hobbes had pounced on Mom trying to get Calvin, that would be bad.
If I had been Hobbes I would have pounced when Calvin opened the bedroom door.
If Hobbes doesn’t pounce, it is not right, too!
“THBBPTT!”????Bill the Cat is going to come reclaiming his phrase. Let’s see the twaddler duel on that one!
There’s always a next time
But Calvin did it with a trick he can only use once.
I didn’t know they allowed people to use that word any more.
Priorities. Comic books over an expressive greeting of Calvin.
What mother doesn’t want to welcome her only child! Never understood this.
If only Hobbes had pounced when he came in the bedroom
Ah, back when people left their doors unlocked and expected six-year-olds to come home alone and let themselves in.
There’s always tomorrow…
As much as Hobbes likes pouncing on Calvin when he gets home from school he likes lying in bed while reading Calvin’s forbidden comic books even more.
Calvin quoted Hobbes’ contemporary, Bill the Cat.
