Hardly surprising with the laces untied

Aaugh! Don’t get me started on surveys! Surveys for EVERY LITTLE THING! They switched our phone system over to Skype phone through my computer. Now I get a pop-up window after I hang up asking me to rate the quality of the call…

Well, at least he doesn’t call you later at dinner time and ask you those stupid questions.

It would be terrible to be trapped in Calvin’s mind.

I think a good word to use in this situation would be “blindsided”. Either that, or “ambushed”……
