Mr. Pinkley: What did you do for lunch, Cathy? Cathy: I drove to the mall...ran through all three floors... ...narrowed 42,000 potential gifts down to 1500 solid possibilities...bought a robe for Mom...tried on 14 New Year's Eve outfits...found Mom's new robe for 30% off at a different store on level one... ...returned the first robe on level three...read 400 Christmas cards...tried on six pairs of boots...and stopped at the cleaners and the money machine. Mr. Pinkley: But what did you do for lunch?? Cathy: Man cannot live by bread alone, but woman can conquer the world fueled only by a rice cake and a diet soda.
