Mom: Heated questions with guilt dip on the side! Dad: I beg your pardon? Mom: You're right. I served that last year. First, I'll pass a few morsels of wisdom around the room...then I'll walk back in with some spicy tidbits of advice...then I'll offer some slightly steamed opinions and pointed comments..all served, of course, with light, airy puffs of love, warmth and good humor, to simultaneously dull the response time to and whet the appetite for my grand finale of... Door bell: Ding Dong. Dad: I wouldn't come in just now, Honey, Mother's preparing her Thanksgiving hors d'oeuvres.
