Cathy: Call me! Call me now! So what if I haven't met you yet?? Call me!! Phone rings. Dahlia on phone: What are you doing for Valentine's Day, Cathy? Cathy: Nothing, Dahlia. Dahlia: Nothing? You get to do nothing?? I've been in training for a month for my husband's next extravaganza! Cathy: He's taking you on another exotic trip?? Dahlia: For Andy Haas, it isn't a celebration unless we're risking our lives on some daring excursion. Cathy: The most daring thing I ever did with a man was eat chocolates without punching holes in the bottom first. Dahlia: That's so cozy! Andy gave me a five-day trek to Machu Picchu. We lived on trail rations and had to camp in snow in June! That's so romantic! I watched a golf video for two hours on Valentine's. Dahlia: You got to sit on a couch! I've fled Yogoslavia with Andy..gone treasure diving with Andy..almost gotten lost at sea in Bora Bora with Andy..I lost weight in Paris because Andy made dinner reservations at a vineyard fifty miles way and then rented bikes! We rode fifty miles in the rain!! Cathy: But you were on an adventure together! Dahlia: I'm exhausted! I just want to sit and order room service!! Cathy: I want to go somewhere...anywhere with a man! Forget the gift exchange, what we need for Valentine's Day is a relationship exchange.
