Mom: I see London! I see France! I see too many people's underpants! Cathy: Mom! Mom: It's ok for them to show it, but not ok for me to say it? Cathy: It's just.. Mom: Well, I can't take it anymore! Open the newspaper: underwear! Turn on the TV: underwear! Magazines full of underwear! Billboards full of underwear! Store fronts full of underwear! Eroding values..confusing morals..warping priorities..and who knows what else?? In my day, pieces of underwear were called "unmentionables"! They were also supposed to be "unseeables"! Everyone wasn't thinking about everyone's underwear!! If today's strong, empowered women want to be viewed as strong, empowered women, they should quit prancing around in their underwear! Quit supporting companies that are filling our brains with pictures of underwear!! Cathy: Nothing matches the ungirdled passion of a mother. Mom: Aack! "Girdle"! More underwear!
